The way I feel lately sometimes, not necessarily because "something" has happened, but because nothing has happened. I'm drifting sometimes and if I'm not careful and not paying attention I can drift in the wrong direction. I wish to be able to be active in my life and sometimes I'm just not. Up and downs, just like everyone else. I hope you can relate, and I hope you relize it's not just you:-) Love you all who read this and thanks for reading.
Read Ezekiel 11:16-25.
"Many of us experience the temptation to wander spiritually-to drift away from the God we love. Our hearts and emotions can be desperately deceptive, convincing us all too easily that we want what someone else has and not what God has planned for us. "The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?" (Jer. 17:9)
There is One, however, who does understand how emotionally fragmented our hearts can become, and He has promised to give us an undivided heart. What does this mean? Simply this: God promises that when we relinquish control of our hearts to Him, He will transform us from the inside out. If you think you can't give up that destructive habit, those inappropriate thoughts, that illicit relationshp, then seek God. Cry out for His help. Ask Him to give you an undivided heart. God specializes in spiritual surgery on hearts that are open to Him.
God also promises to remove our hearts of stone. Have you experienced such pain and trauma in your life that you have determined never to allow yourself to be that hurt again? Has your warm heart for the things of the Lord ever become cold and distant? When we invite God's Spirit to truly take up residence within us, He lights a fire in the hearth of our hearts that cannot be put out. Ask God today to ignite a fire within your heart so that it can burn away all heardness. Ask Him to give you a new heart filled with His love."

I love this. It's a wonderful way to 'keep up' with family. Love the pictures, the words of love and wisdom, the music ! Please keep it up. Heather, Stormie's words remind me that life was meant to have challenges. God means to have an obedient and purified people. How can we become purified without the refiner's fire ? I love Paul when he asks to have the 'thorn in his flesh' removed. He asked three times ! Read 2 Corinthians 12:1 - 11. And see that when the Lord answered him, PAUL ASKED FOR MORE TRIAL ! God loves us and Jesus reigns. All things are in Their hands.
Very familiar with Paul's thorn. Love that section of scripture. :-)
