I CUT MADISON'S HAIR!!!

So I have sorta been wanting to cut Madison's hair recently and tonight I went and did it.
I did myself so you can see that it isn't exactly even everywhere (I blame the scissors), but it still looks dang cute to me. Tell me should I become a hair stylist? LOL! I just hope I can get her hair into a bun for her ballet recital in a month:-).

My photo blog

So I wanted to get back in to photography because I have missed it so much. I don't always feel like I have the time to dedicate to it (gee, wonder why) but I'd still like to slowly remember stuff I learned when I was doing it for a senior project in high school. I loved it then, granted I was using my mentors camera and the one I have right now is just a point and shoot, it is a pretty good camera. Anyway I think this is part of my "finding me" journey. I started a photo blog which is strictly for my pictures. I don't know why I did it this way I just wanted to. Anyway take a look and tell me what you think. Thanks guys!!

My Journey

I've recently decided to go on a journey to find my identity and my purpose. My identity because I feel like for the last 7 years I've been wife and mother. Both jobs are extremely important to me, so much so that I've somewhat lost who I am. So I'm going to figure who I am, while still being the wife and mother that I am. My purpose because right now I'm just kind of floating here. I don't feel like I'm doing what I was put here to do. I've recently started going to a church that I LOVE!!! It's called The Living Room Community Church. It is the best. So laid back but very modern. It's a Christian non-denominational church. There is class that I've just started going to there called Missional living. It's basically there to help you grow closer to Jesus and to define who He is to you. Great class. Loving it already. I'll be sad when it is over, but hope they will start up with another class. I'm doing all this while praying for help and guidance on my journey. I will periodically update on here as to where I am at. If you are they praying kind I would love your prayers. If not just your thoughts would be very welcomed. THANK YOU!!

New hair cut

So ignore the goofy look on my face, but this is my new hair cut. I just made the decision about a week ago, thought about it and finally decided to do it. My neighbor is my hair person so I just walked over there to see if she would be able to do it soon (not necessarily last night, but she was willing to do it last night). So this is it, hope ya like it!

Sisterly love!

Ahhh.....thank heaven for little girls:-)

Eat, Pray, Love

So I just finished this book today. What a good book. It really made me think of things that are going on in my life right now that I could relate to. I love her sense of humor, very much like mine. At times though her writing is a lot like the way I talk. It's like she goes into too much detail about a certain thing and it takes her awhile to get back to the main topic. I never knew I was so annoying when I talked :-) But other then that really it was a good book. It kind of left you hanging at the very end, but there is another book due out next year so I'll be patiently waiting for it's release. Here's the info. if you'd like to check it out: Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert

True Crime

So I've read two true crime books lately and I've actually liked them. I read a true crime book in the past but I just couldn't finish it. It was just too gruesome of a crime involving a mother her children and an unborn child. Anyway the two I have read are not as bad because they are written like a story. They have details and factual information but they tell it in a way that makes it seem like a fiction book more then a factual event. Anyway I have enjoyed them and plan to read a few more before I move on to something else. Both are good in their own way, but they are also very sad because there was a loss of life. They are Beyond All Reason: My Life With Susan Smith and By Their Father's Hand: The True Story of the Wesson Family Massacre.
